Sitting at the station with a butt ton of train delays on account of the rain. Haven't writen in a while due to lack of excitment. Things have picked up since new years. That night after work we played at the ding dong lounge with our old friends Sealed With A Kiss (SWAK). It had been about a year and change since we last played with them and holy crap did they get good. They added a second guitar player, which really opened their sound and let Syd sing and rip on the leads. They were tight, hard hitting, and friggin melted faces and pants with their tasty grooves. They are currently working on new stuff so check those little stud foxes http://www.facebook.com/#!/swaknyc .All and all the show went well and the New Year came and went with Spydyr starting the count down at 30...womp womp womp. The Bar tenders were really nice, we had a good turn out and a great crowd response. I realized this week that I am no longer cool enough to drink AT ALL. Not that I was ever a big drinker. If I ended up drinking two beers a month that would be alot. The week of Christmas has been parties and birthdays and iv noticed my tolerance is lamer then ever. After two drinks my head is in the toilet and I ruin the evening with my non rawkin hot messness vomit show with children crying in the back ground and baby angels getting hit by ice cream trucks( sorry alex for killing your birthday, love you man) so I spent New Years sober....CHEERS
On january fifth I went to the Steal Panter show at the Theater of Living Arts. I am not an 80s hair metal fan, but steal panther does it foor me. I guess cause its not lieing about what it is....a big doofy joke about trying to nail chicks, but with excellent solos and sick talent.
